• In 2020-21 Better Breastfeeding worked with partners in North Central London Local Maternity System to develop a coproduced LMS-wide Infant Feeding Strategy. You can read more about the work in this detailed case study. We hope it will be particularly useful to LMSs, which have been asked to create breastfeeding strategies as part of their local Equity and Equality Plans. It should also be useful to LMSs in their postnatal transformation work and to ICSs more widely as they consider their prevention strategies, including tackling child obesity and improving maternal health.

• In 2017 Better Breastfeeding produced a “Guide to the Guidance” on breastfeeding support, aimed at helping Local Maternity Systems design good quality, seamless support for mothers to breastfeed. It contains all the national guidance on breastfeeding support – from NICE, Public Health England, Unicef UK Baby Friendly and others.
