Better Breastfeeding is the secretariat of the Breastfeeding Alliance, which brings together over 40 member organisations with an interest in breastfeeding to speak with one voice to improve UK breastfeeding policy and practice.

The Breastfeeding Alliance endorses the 5 key asks of the First 1001 Days Movement’s
Manifesto for Babies in 2024, alongside the following specific actions relating to breastfeeding.
